St. Patrick’s Day Activities Preschool

We love sensory bins in our classroom.  I use cake dye to create vibrant colored peas and spray 30 with gold spray paint.  The boys and girls use tweezers to dig through the peas to find the gold coins.  They use the golden peas to fill their ten frame mat.  We also have fun with number matching and trimming a leprechaun beard craft.

Leprechaun’s are a fun part of St. Patrick’s Day.  They worked on letter and sound association with cute leprechauns.  We used 6 at one time, starting with the most popular sounds.  They also had fun matching numbers to sets with a shamrock math activity, as well as forming St. Patrick’s Day shapes with dough.
